(no subject)

I can't find my bibles.  Of course, that's nothing new -- I haven't been able to find them for about two and a half years.  But I never really thought about it until recently.  And I can't stop thinking about it, either.  Sure, I have three stereotypical church-bibles -- you know, the kind that look like hymnals.  But I don't want those.  I want mine!  That small, burnt-red, dingy-gold-lined-pages, one page torn in half, fifty pages in a row all bent in on the corner.  Or even Santa Biblia, my old parallel English/Spanish mabob with red sand encrusted on the inside.

Alas, I do not know where they are.  They are definitely not here in Indiana with me, and I looked all over in Texas last I was there.  But nothing.  And it makes me sad

All this because, strangely, I've recently wanted to Bible-Study.  I've never gotten into Bible Study before, and have no idea how to go about it (although I'm pretty sure a Bible is required!), but I want to.  And, I'm sure this will just faze like everything else -- DDR, keeping my house clean, gamecube, firearms, doom3, etc etc etc -- but I should at least do something while my mind is on it!  ...shouldn't I?

I've recently aquired some interesting items from garage sales.  Well, Jordan aquired one for me, but y'know...

First, an old Sega Genesis plus eight games.

Second, and I know a few of you'll get a kick out of this *coughtombombadilcough*: Natural Journeys' The Sensual Art of Bellydance: Mystic Dance, with Veena & Neena.   with Veil and Finger-Cymbals, mind you!  Now, I haven't quite had a chance to watch it, but when I do!  I'll be bellydancin' from the parking lot into Wal-Mart.  From my desk at work over to Gay Jerry's.  Oh, I'll be bellydancing like there's no tomorrow.

Yes!
